These eggs are unfertilized chicken eggs for culinary purposes (they will not hatch out chicks). Chicken eggs come in approximately medium-large size and are typically unwashed. Keeping the "bloom" on unwashed eggs allows them to stay fresh for a significantly longer span of time. However, it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to wash your eggs prior to using them! Just be aware once you wash them they are only good for about 1-2 weeks after and MUST be refrigerated.
One of my chickens (Mabel) habitually eats too much calcium and thus her light brown eggs tend to have calcium deposits on them. These are little hard bumps on the outer shell of the egg. This is entirely normal and completely harmless, but feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions!
Chickens slow or entirely stop their egg laying in times of extreme heat or cold - product availibility will be dependent upon supply.
